In St. Petersburg, the police sealed the bar where the evening of letters to the actionist Pavel Krysevich was held for “violation of sanitary standards.” About it informs Telegram channel Sota.
The meeting took place in the Vogel bar, where Krysevich’s friends, activists and former political prisoners were going to speak.
According to the founder of the bar Valentin Khoroshenin, the police received a complaint that a mass event was taking place in the bar in violation of sanitary standards. However, it turned out that there were less than forty visitors, so the bar began to be checked for “one thousand and one trifles.” The police checked the alcohol licenses and the availability of sanitary clothing on the staff. Rospotrebnadzor employees took part in the raid.
From November 1, according to the decree of the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, the number of public events was reduced from 75 to 40 people.
In June, against Pavel Krysevich aroused a criminal case of hooliganism (Article 213 of the Criminal Code) due to a rally in support of political prisoners on Red Square, during which he tried to shoot himself in the head. He is now in jail.
