In the Vladimir region, the prosecutor’s office filed a lawsuit against the hospital in the city of Raduzhny because of the refusal of its head physician to cancel the “Code of professional ethics of a medical worker”, which prohibits employees from criticizing the work of a medical institution and their colleagues. About it informs “7×7” with reference to the hospital’s paramedic Irina Fedotova.
The hospital employees themselves had previously complained about the illegality of the document to the prosecutor’s office. In response to the complaint of doctors, the department confirmed that the head physician of the hospital Lyudmila Zhukova adopted the “Code of Professional Ethics of a Medical Worker” in violation of Article 372 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation.
According to the response of the prosecutor’s office on October 20, the document was developed without taking into account the opinion of the medical trade union. What kind of trade union is meant, the response of the department does not say. As noted by “7×7”, there are currently two of them in the hospital: a branch of the “Action” trade union, which includes several doctors, including Irina Fedotova, and the hospital trade union.
According to “7×7”, after Zhukova’s appointment as the head physician of the Raduzhny hospital in December 2020, doctors repeatedly complained about working conditions and the absence of “covid” payments. In June this year, the hospital was visited by and. O. Deputy Governor of the Vladimir Region Olga Grebneva, who accused the head physician of a “piggy” attitude towards employees. The head of the hospital was reprimanded, while the doctors received payments.
