Actor Alec Baldwin fired a props weapon on the set of Rust, killing cameraman Galina Hutchins. About it informs The Hollywood Reporter citing Santa Fe County, New Mexico police.
The woman was taken to the hospital by helicopter, but the doctors were unable to save her.

The 48-year-old film director Joel Sousa was also injured. He is in critical condition at the hospital.
Production of the film has been temporarily suspended and an investigation is underway. One of the filmmakers told The Hollywood Reporter that the patron had to be blank. How the weapon was loaded is unknown.
In Rust, Baldwin plays the criminal Harland Rast. He is also the film’s producer.
