“Dozhd” was entered into the register of “foreign agents” on August 20. Tikhon Dzyadko, the editor-in-chief of the TV channel broadcasting only on the Internet, said that “Dozhd” is not a foreign agent by the nature of its activity and works in accordance with all the norms of Russian legislation. Anyone can find a document with financial statements on the channel’s website and understand that Dozhd does not receive any foreign funding, he stressed.
