Production of rapid tests for COVID-19 to be launched in Crimea

The White Product company will launch the production of tests in Crimea that can detect coronavirus within three minutes. How informs Interfax, investment agreement of intent was signed with the Crimean authorities on October 21.

“A company and a brand of tests called“ CrimeaTest ”will be created in Crimea. (…) The complex creation of a production site for the development of a wide range of tests for infectious diseases will cost about 0.5 billion rubles, “Alexei Altynbaev, Development Director of White Product, told reporters.

Components for production will be supplied from South Korea.

In the future, it is planned to launch a similar production in the Moscow region and, possibly, in Kaliningrad.

White Product LLC is one of the largest suppliers of coronavirus test systems in Russia. During the onset of the pandemic, the company offered the Russian market SD Biosensor, a rapid diagnostic system for coronavirus infection from South Korea.
