Voronezh officials are looking for a banquet hall for 700 people. The region hits the anti-record for the incidence of COVID-19 for the fifth day in a row

The Government of the Voronezh Region has planned a mass event in honor of the Day of Agricultural and Processing Industry Workers. For this on public procurement local authorities are looking for a hall “with a capacity of at least 1,300 seats” and a banquet room for at least 700 people. Meanwhile, for the fifth day in a row, the region is hitting an anti-record for the incidence of coronavirus, the need to obtain QR codes has been introduced to enter institutions with mass attendance.

The initial maximum rental price for premises is RUB 4,059,333. One of the goals of the event, according to the terms of reference of the lot, is the formation of a positive image of the regional agro-industrial complex.

How informs Voronezh edition of the “Notebook” edition, excluding rent, about 10 million rubles will be spent on the event. This amount will be used to purchase valuable gifts for “the foremost workers of agricultural production” – according to the terms of reference for two more lots, the gifts mean new cars, it is planned to purchase seven Lada Granta in the “Comfort” configuration. The publication notes that most likely the holiday will take place on one Friday in November.

Over the past day, 676 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the Voronezh region. The daily increase in cases updates the maximum value daily from Thursday, October 14.
