The Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court satisfied the claim of the prosecutor’s office to recognize the “Male State” community as an extremist organization, writes Mediazona. During the court session, the prosecutor insisted that the organization was unregistered and was engaged in persecuting people on the basis of ethnicity in social networks.
A lawsuit demanding to recognize the “Male State” as an extremist organization and to prohibit its activities was filed by the acting prosecutor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Andrey Galchenko. The defendants are the founder of the “Male State” Vladislav Pozdnyakov, as well as Igor Nosov and Dmitry Gubanov. The interested parties were the Nizhny Novgorod Department of the Ministry of Justice and Roskomnadzor for the Volga Federal District.
Pozdnyakov himself wrote in his Telegram channel that “there will soon be a trial to recognize the Male State as an extremist community.” According to him, he has not been in charge of this brand “for a year already” and suggested that the current head of the organization find a lawyer.
Supporters of the “Men’s State” repeatedly harassed the Internet, sent threats to fem-activists and lowered ratings to establishments that were considered overly tolerant. The insider collected everything that is known about this organization.
