On the eve it became known that in North Ossetia convicts raised a riot in correctional colony No. 1 in Vladikavkaz. According to various sources, from 200 to 600 people participated in the riots.
According to preliminary data, the riot was preceded by a conflict on the territory of the industrial zone, allegedly due to the disagreement of the convicts to observe the regime established in the colony. They smashed surveillance cameras and internal doors on the premises of the penitentiary.
