In the Moscow concert hall “Zaryadye” passed Michelin Stars Ceremony. The Russian capital became the first city in the CIS, whose cafes and restaurants were included in the so-called “Red Guide” – the most famous and influential of the restaurant ratings.

One Michelin star was awarded to seven metropolitan restaurants: Selfie (chef Anatoly Kazakov), Beluga (chef – Evgeny Vikentiev), Grand Cru (chef – David Emmerle), White Rabbit (chef – Vladimir Mukhin), Biologie (chef – Ekaterina Alekhina), Sakhalin (chief – Alexey Kogai) and Savva (chief – Andrey Shmakov).

Two stars were awarded to Artest Chef’s Table (chef – Artem Stafiev) and Twins Garden (chefs – Ivan and Sergey Berezutsky).

Nikita Poderyagin (restaurant Björn) was awarded in the category “Best Young Chef”. The Twins Garden restaurant received the Best Service award.

In addition, Bioliogie, Björn and Twins Garden have received green Michelin stars. This award is given to environmentally responsible institutions.

A total of 69 Moscow establishments were included in the guide “Recommended by Michelin 2022”, 45 of them have not yet received stars.

Russia has become the 33rd country in the world to publish the prestigious Michelin guide. The Moscow mayor’s office suggests that awarding stars to restaurants in the capital will contribute to the development of gastronomic tourism and increase the attractiveness of the city.
