In the city of Ust-Kut, Irkutsk region, the director of school No. 4, Olga Zueva, was fired for publicly supporting State Duma candidate Alexei Tupitsin. In the parliamentary elections in September, he ran for the Yabloko party.
On the dismissal of the director of an educational institution informs the publication “Siberia.Realii” with reference to Olga Zueva. A Telegram channel “Irkutsk Insider” posted a photograph of the dismissal order.
Before the elections, Olga Zueva and her colleague, director of school No. 2 in Ust-Kut, Lyudmila Lenskaya, recorded videos in which they described Tupicin from a positive side and called on to vote for him. After that, according to Zueva, the Minister of Education of the Irkutsk Region Maxim Parfenov arrived in Ust-Kut. He threatened the directors with dismissal if they were “not in the United Russia team”.
On October 5, a rally of the pro-Kremlin National Liberation Movement (NOD) took place in Irkutsk, the participants of which said that teachers “have no moral right” to speak out for Tupitsin, since he supported opposition leader Alexei Navalny, whose structures were declared extremist organizations. Members of the NOD collected signatures on a petition for the dismissal of teachers.
According to Tupitsin, the action against the teachers was organized by the same members of the NOD, who were previously used by the CPE GUVD and the FSB to dismiss the Irkutsk historian Alexei Petrov and falsify a criminal case against opposition leader Sergei Bespalov, who was forced to emigrate from the country.
The employment contract with Zueva was terminated unilaterally without explanation (Article 278 of the Labor Code).
The dismissal of Lyudmila Lenskaya, who is an honorary citizen of the Ust-Kutsk region, has not been reported. According to Tupicin, she is now in the hospital. “So far, sources in the administration say that officials have already prepared documents for sending Lenskaya to retire as soon as she is discharged from the hospital,” he explained.
In April, Aleksey Tupitsin, director of the Center for Civic Assistance, was arrested for 9 days on charges of organizing a rally in support of Navalny, although the rally did not take place. reported “Taiga.info”.
