The court rejected Navalny’s claim on the illegal blocking of the websites of his headquarters and associates

The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow dismissed FBK founder Alexei Navalny in the claim for illegal blocking of the websites of the network of his headquarters, the organization’s leadership, as well as Smart Voting, the Alliance of Doctors and FBK itself. About it informs the “Network Freedoms” project with reference to the lawyer Leonid Solovyov.

During the process, Roskomnadzor referred to the fact that it performs only the technical function of maintaining the register, and the representative of the Prosecutor General’s Office referred to the decision of the Moscow City Court to ban and recognize FBK and Navalny’s Headquarters as extremist.

On June 9, the Moscow City Court recognized the FBK as an extremist organization. Now the activities of the foundation are officially banned, and its members and even just supporters, according to the new law, will not be able to be elected to the legislative bodies of all levels for several years. Previously, FBK was recognized as an organization performing the role of a foreign agent.
