The plane crash killed 16 people out of 22 on board. It was reported that 20 passengers were paratroopers, and two more were crew members. At the same time, it is known that the light multipurpose twin-engine aircraft L-410 can take on board, according to the documentation, only 19 passengers.

The plane that crashed in Tatarstan has been in operation since 1987. All 150 units of this aircraft had a resource of no more than 3 thousand hours, which corresponds to approximately 2-3 years of operation. “This resource was not extended by the manufacturer, since not a single vessel returned to the enterprise for revision and determination of an additional resource,” the interlocutor added.
