Another 27,246 cases of coronavirus infection were detected in Russia per day, informs operational headquarters for infection control. The day before, 27 550 cases were reported.
In the country, 936 patients have died – this is a new anti-record for a pandemic.
The day before, 924 deaths were recorded, on October 6 – 929. Most patients died in Moscow – 71, in St. Petersburg – 61, in the Sverdlovsk region – 46.
New infections were registered in 85 regions. There were 4595 cases in Moscow. In St. Petersburg – 2501, in the Moscow region – 1490.
