Viktor Filinkov, convicted in the “Network” case (“Penza case”), was fined for a month. According to the FSIN, he allegedly refused to sweep the exercise yard in the colony. In this regard, it was decided to transfer him to a cell-type room (PKT) in the Orenburg correctional colony No. 1, informs Rupression with reference to attorney Eldar Sharafutdinov. Also, the convict was registered as “prone to systematic violation of internal rules.”.

This is Filinkov’s third professional account. Previously, he was included in the lists of those who are prone to extremism and terrorism.

The prisoners who were sent to the PKT are forbidden to buy food worth more than five thousand rubles a month, receive more than one parcel or parcel post in six months, and walk for more than 1.5 hours a day. They should also not have a short date more than once in six months. During his stay in the PKT, the convict works separately from other prisoners.

Viktor Filinkov has been held in solitary confinement since August 12. At first, he spent two weeks in quarantine, then received three penalties, due to which he was sent to a punishment cell (punishment cell) for 13 days. On September 11, the convict was extended his term in the punishment cell for five days.

The reason for one of the penalties was the refusal to greet an employee of the colony, writes Mediazona. The latter simply brought a paper and a pen to Filinkov and offered to “write an explanation about the fact that he did not greet” at the time of the presentation of these items, said public defender Yevgenia Kulakova.

A criminal case on the so-called terrorist community “Network” was opened by the FSB in October 2017. Then, for a month in Penza, Yegor Zorin, Ilya Shakursky, Vasily Kuksov, Dmitry Pchelintsev and Andrei Chernov were detained. Arman Sagynbaev was found in St. Petersburg, and the Penza residents Maxim Ivankin and Mikhail Kulkov were later detained in Moscow. Also, three Petersburgers were detained in the case: Viktor Filinkov, Igor Shishkin and Yulia Boyarshinov. Most of the detainees are anarchists and anti-fascists, who were also fond of airsoft. According to the investigation, young people have created a network community with the aim of committing terrorist attacks, preparing for revolution and civil war.

According to the FSB, no later than May 2015, the person involved in the case, Dmitry Pchelintsev, decided to unite anarchists and antifascists from different cities – Penza, St. Petersburg and Moscow – into “battle groups” to attack the security forces, attacks on government bodies, military registration and enlistment offices and branches of “United Russia” … Activists allegedly gathered in 2018 during the presidential elections and the World Cup with the help of explosions to “shake the masses to further destabilize the political situation in the country,” and then to raise an armed rebellion.

In February 2020, seven defendants in the Network case were sentenced to imprisonment for a term of six to 18 years. In the summer of the same year, Filinkov was sentenced and sentenced to 7 years in prison.
