The Office of the Investigative Committee for the Saratov Region opened a criminal case after the publication of a video of the rape of prisoners in the hospital of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service. About it reported on the website of the department.
The case was initiated under the article on violent acts of a sexual nature committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy.
“According to reports posted in the media, several men, acting as a group of persons in a preliminary conspiracy, using violence, committed acts of a sexual nature against a convict in a correctional facility,” the UK press release said.
The investigation is being supervised by the acting head of the regional investigation department, Oleg Mezrin. Now the UK is establishing the circumstances of the incident.
