<p>The Federal Security Service (FSB) has approved a list of information that does not belong to the state secret, but the receipt of which by foreign states, foreign citizens and international organizations can be &#8220;used against the security&#8221; of Russia.  Service order <a href="http://publication.pravo.gov.ru/Document/View/0001202109300048?index=10&amp;rangeSize=1" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">published</a> on the official portal of regulations.</p>
<p>The list consists of 60 items.  All of them relate to informing about any military activity and the work of Roscosmos.  Foreign agents may be recognized for transmitting the following information:</p>
<ul>
<li>information on the assessment and forecasts of the development of the military-political, strategic situation;</li>
<li>information about the location of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and units of power structures;</li>
<li>information about the mobilization, combat and mobilization training of troops;</li>
<li>information about the observance of the rule of law and the &#8220;moral and psychological climate&#8221; in the troops;</li>
<li>information on the use of quantum technologies and artificial intelligence in the creation of new weapons and special equipment.</li>
<li>information on the target programs of Roscosmos, information on the procedure, timing and amount of the company&#8217;s financing;</li>
<li>information about the problems, including financial and economic ones, hindering the development of Roscosmos;</li>
<li>information on the creation and implementation of space technologies in the interests of the country&#8217;s defense and state security;</li>
<li>information on the development of space nuclear power;</li>
<li>information disclosing the initial data for the conclusion of international treaties in the field of space activities.</li>
</ul>
<p>The FSB has developed a document in accordance with <a href="https://www.consultant.ru/document/cons_doc_LAW_139994/db1ec10278959044da8a5c31b9fc00cc944f0b12/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">amendments</a> in the law &#8220;On measures of influence on persons involved in violations of fundamental human freedoms, rights and freedoms of citizens of the Russian Federation.&#8221;  It was signed by the President in 2020.</p>
<p>According to the law, individuals and unregistered public associations that carry out political activities and receive financial or organizational assistance from abroad can be recognized as foreign agents.  Those who meet the criteria are required to apply for inclusion in the list of foreign agents.  They must also provide the Ministry of Justice with data on the use of money and property that they received from foreigners.  For &#8220;malicious evasion of duties&#8221; foreign agents face criminal prosecution.</p>
