Nikolai Zubrilin, head of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma, was detained in Moscow. About it reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow City Duma deputy Ekaterina Engalycheva.
According to this information, Zubrilin was detained at the exit from the building of the city committee of the Communist Party. The police also detained the head of the protest department of the city party committee Pavel Ivanov. They are taken to the Tverskoy police station, told Engalychev to the Sota edition.
The reason for the detention is unknown.
The day before, on September 30, the Savelovsky District Court of Moscow arrested Boris Kagarlitsky, professor of the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences, for 10 days because of the post about the Communist Party’s action against the election results, which took place on September 25. It is reported by “Dozhd” with reference to the press service of the capital’s courts.
Kagarlitsky was found guilty of organizing or holding a public event without giving notice. At the same time, the professor argued that in his publication there were no calls to participate in the protest action.
The professor was detained near the doors of the university, where he was supposed to give a lecture. He was taken to the police station and left there overnight.
On September 25, on Pushkinskaya Square, an action against falsification of elections to the State Duma, organized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the form of a meeting with deputies, took place. Before its start, about 60 supporters of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation were detained.
