FSB officers took the wife of The Insider editor-in-chief Roman Dobrokhotov for interrogation to the Lefortovo department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. She was secretly taken out through the stairs, the lawyer was not allowed to see her.
OVD-Info lawyer Sergei Telnov tried to get into the apartment, but the security forces blocked the apartment door on the floor and did not let him in.
The search in the apartment of Dobrokhotov’s parents continues. It is expected that upon its completion, the journalist’s father, 71-year-old HSE professor Alexander Dobrokhotov, will first be taken for interrogation, while his mother will remain with her grandchildren. After the interrogation of the father, Dobrokhotov’s mother will be brought to the FSB.
Searches of relatives of The Insider editor-in-chief are taking place as part of a criminal case on “illegal border crossing”. Dobrokhotov himself was put on the wanted list on September 23 by the decision of the FSB investigative department.
Operational measures are carried out by the FSB officers. They confiscate all equipment – phones and computers.
