The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow arrested Boris Kagarlitsky, a professor at the Moscow Higher School of Social and Economic Sciences, for 10 days because of the post about the Communist Party’s action against the election results, which took place on September 25. Kagarlitsky was found guilty of organizing or holding a public event without giving notice. At the same time, the professor argued that in his publication there were no calls to participate in the protest action.
The professor was detained the day before near the doors of the university, where he was supposed to give a lecture. He was taken to the police station and left there overnight.
We will remind, on September 25, on Pushkinskaya Square, an action against falsification of elections to the State Duma, organized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation in the form of a meeting with deputies, took place. Before its start, about 60 supporters of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation were detained.
