Moscow City Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yekaterina Engalycheva was detained while reviewing the protocols, informs Interfax with reference to the press secretary of the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma Nikita Popov.
“Ekaterina Engalycheva was detained in the Tverskoy OVD while reviewing the protocols. Now she is being escorted by a convoy to the Tverskoy Court of Moscow, ”he said.
She is charged with organizing unauthorized events on September 20 and 25.
On September 29, the Communist Party lawyer Mukhamed Bidzhev, who was preparing lawsuits to cancel the results of electronic voting in the elections in Moscow, was arrested for 10 days. The party supposes that the action of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation on September 20 was the reason.
Earlier, the police blocked the building for a day, where the Communist Party officers were preparing lawsuits against remote electronic voting. On September 29, in the morning, the Communist Party faction in the Moscow City Duma demanded that the head of the Moscow police, Oleg Baranov, end the siege of the Communist Party committee and release all detained party members. Members of the faction left the meeting in protest.
The party’s lawyers managed to file 31 lawsuits in court.
