The Supreme Court upheld the decision to ban the breeding of poultry in garden plots. About it informs TASS with reference to the text of the decision of the judge of the Supreme Court Sergey Nikiforov.
The document notes that the State Inspection of the Volgograd Region for the Use and Protection of Lands fined a resident of the region, Taisiya Koverchenko, 10 thousand rubles, having found her guilty of using the land plot for inappropriate purposes. The reason was that she bred birds in her garden area.
The woman appealed against this decision, however, other courts recognized the actions of the inspection as legal, then she appealed to the Supreme Court. “The court decided to leave the decision of the deputy chief state inspector of the Volgograd region unchanged, and leave Koverchenko’s complaint without satisfaction,” the text says.
The Supreme Court indicated that Koverchenko’s use of the land plot for keeping poultry was illegal.
