The turnout in the elections to the State Duma in Moscow, taking into account online voting at 08:00 on September 18, exceeded 23%. About it reported Aleksey Venediktov, head of the Public Headquarters for Election Observation in the capital.
“The turnout in Moscow is 23.07%,” Venediktov said. According to him, 6.98% or 534 thousand people voted by paper ballots. 1.271 million people voted online. Venediktov said that about 120 thousand voters out of those who submitted their applications voted at home.
Earlier, the CEC reported that in Moscow the turnout for electronic voting in the elections to the State Duma was 58.1%. According to the deputy chairman of the CEC Nikolai Bulaev, in the afternoon of September 17, the turnout in electronic voting in six regions reached 48%. By 17:00 Moscow time, the turnout for remote electronic voting in the country exceeded 60%.
