The Ministry of Justice called the contents of the letter of Rosfinmonitoring a state secret, because of which the journalists of “Open Media” Yulia Yarosh and Maxim Glikin were recognized as “foreign agents.” How informs “Mediazona”, this is stated in the ruling of the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow.
“The administrative plaintiff disputes the fact of receiving foreign funding. The Ministry of Justice of Russia, in support of the legality of the order, refers to the information contained in the letter of Rosfinmonitoring. As the representative of the Ministry of Justice of Russia explained, such information constitutes a state secret, ”the document says.
Yarosh and Glikin intend to appeal the decision on recognition as “foreign agents” in court. Consideration at the request of the Ministry of Justice was transferred to the Moscow City Court, since cases related to state secrets must be considered by the courts of the subjects of the federation.
