The first eastern district military court of Khabarovsk sentenced a resident of Chita to six years in a general regime colony in the case of publicly justifying terrorism (part 2 of article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). About it informs “Taiga-info”.
The man was charged with posting on the Internet “materials justifying” the terrorist attack in the building of the FSB of the Arkhangelsk region in 2018.
“During the period of operational and investigative actions, the defendant repeatedly expressed threats to the representatives of the law enforcement block, related not only to the life and health of employees, but also to the integrity of buildings and structures,” the FSB department for Transbaikalia said in a statement.
Earlier, the First Eastern District Military Court in a similar case sent for compulsory treatment of the Irkutsk civil activist Dmitry Nadein. Nadein published on his VKontakte page the news that the court sentenced a Kaliningrad woman to a fine for acquitting the “Arkhangelsk terrorist” Mikhail Zhlobitsky. In a commentary to the news, he noted that the FSB officers “have no other business but to run on social networks and look for” who repost the message about the terrorist attack in Arkhangelsk.
