The ministry claims that on September 17, 1939, Soviet troops “entered the Curzon line, not allowing the Wehrmacht to approach Minsk,” while in fact on that day Soviet troops, in agreement with Nazi Germany, attacked Poland from the east.

“The peoples of Western Belarus and Western Ukraine greeted the Soviet soldiers with jubilation,” the Foreign Ministry post says.

At the same time, in the video published on the Foreign Ministry’s page, there is no photograph of the joint parade of the Wehrmacht and the Red Army, which took place in Brest on September 22, 1939.
