According to media reports, human rights defenders and observers, at polling stations in a number of cities, anomalously long queues of public sector workers and military personnel were formed.

Meduza’s interlocutor, close to the Moscow mayor’s office, confirmed that employees of the capital’s budgetary or near-budget structures are also “insistently required” to vote by 12 noon on Friday. According to the source, they must do it electronically. According to data as of 11:15 Moscow time, more than 350 thousand Muscovites have voted online in the capital.

How writes “Taiga.Info” with reference to the Tomsk candidate for the State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Vasily Shipilov, in the elections in Siberia, there was also organized a massive coercion of state employees to vote on the morning of September 17. “The regional authorities are silent – they explain in a whisper that this is some kind of“ Mobilization ”and the team was dismissed from Moscow,” Shipilov emphasized. He added that employees of budgetary organizations, under threat of dismissal, are forced to be attached to polling stations at their place of work, and not at their place of residence.
