A man who attacked a police department in the town of Liski in the Voronezh region had previously killed a family he knew “on the basis of a domestic conflict.” About it it says in the message of the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
According to the investigation, after the murder, he went to the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Liskinsky district and, with the help of an explosive device, “blew up the building’s front door.”
The man arrived at the police station in a Niva, in camouflage uniform and bulletproof vest and detonated an explosive device, as a result of which one of the officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was wounded.
A police officer born in 1995 received a shrapnel wound to the shin of his right leg, there is no threat to his life, the ICR said in a statement.
Two criminal cases were initiated – about murder and about encroachment on the life of employees of the internal affairs bodies with the use of an explosive device. The head of the TFR, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to transfer these cases to the central office of the department.
In previous messages there was no mention of the attack on the police station.
