The court after the complaint of the prosecutor’s office sent for reconsideration the case of the Novosibirsk activist under the “Dada article”

The eighth cassation court in Kemerovo sent for reconsideration the case against the Novosibirsk activist Yana Drobnokhod under the “Dada article” (Article 212.1 of the Criminal Code). About it informs SOTA referring to the girl herself. Information “OVD-Info” confirmed lawyer Dmitry Shitov.

At the meeting on September 15, which the activist called a “trial”, the court granted the petition of the prosecutor’s office, which considered it “illegal” to terminate the proceedings. A new trial will begin in about a month.

Fractional Walker accused under the so-called “Dada article” – on repeated violation of the rules for participation in public actions. Art. 212.1 of the Criminal Code, adopted in 2014, is called “Dadinskaya”, since the first convicted under it was civil activist Ildar Dadin (he was assigned 2.5 years in prison).

In mid-March, the court of Novosibirsk closed case Drobnokhod and assigned her a fine of 40 thousand rubles. Earlier, the activist, who has three children, was in a pre-trial detention center. She was later released under house arrest. The prosecutor’s office in April appealed against Dismissal of the case: according to the department, the activist allegedly did not compensate for the harm caused to the state.

In the criminal case of Drobnokhod, there are actions on September 26 and January 30 in support of the arrested ex-governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Furgal, a rally on January 23 in support of Alexei Navalny, as well as two Instagram posts in October calling for actions in support of Furgal.
