In the village of Pogreby, the body of a judge from Kiev was found, the incident is being investigated by the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), informs press service of the National Police of Ukraine.
The official name of the judge was not disclosed. According to sources RBK and Liga.net, the deceased – Vitaly Pisanets, judge of the Pechersk District Court. “Reviewer” writesthat he was resting in a friend’s house, where he fell and died.
In the State Bureau of Investigation reportedthat a criminal case of murder was opened (Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Sources of the “Observer” at the same time celebratethat no traces of violence were found on the judge’s body, he was found in the living room of the house, lying on his stomach.
Pisanets was one of the judges in the case of the murder of journalist Pavel Sheremet on July 20, 2016. The car he was driving explodedwhen Sheremet went to the radio Vesti. Police establishedthat the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device. What happened qualified as “premeditated murder” (clause 5, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code).
In December 2019, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced the names of the suspects in the murder of Sheremet: this is a serviceman of the special operations forces (SSO) Andrei Antonenko, nurse Yana Dugar, volunteer doctor Yulia Kuzmenko, as well as spouses Vladislav and Inna Grishchenko, who fought in Donbass. Those who ordered the murder of the journalist have not yet been found.
Sheremet – Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian TV journalist – was born on November 28, 1971 in Minsk. He worked for ORT, later – the host of the “Time” program on Channel One, editor of the department of politics and society in the magazine “Ogonyok”. Since 2012 Sheremet have worked in Ukraine, in particular, he had a blog on the Ukrainskaya Pravda portal.
