The new CEO of Tinder dating from September 27th will be a woman for the first time – Renate Nyborg. reported on the Tinder website.
Nyborg joined the company in 2020 as General Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Prior to that, she worked at Apple and the Headspace meditation app. Her predecessor in this position, Jim Lanzone, will head the search engine Yahoo.
This summer, Tinder announced a number of new features aimed at making better matches. In its most recent quarterly earnings report, the company posted double-digit growth and a record 9.6 million users.
Nyborg met her husband on Tinder. “I swiped my husband and it changed my life,” she said.
