In Moscow, the number of cases of rape over the past eight months increased by 32.4% compared to the same period last year. About it reported city prosecutor’s office.

Also, according to official data, 115 murders were committed (-21.2%), 386 cases of intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm (-16.5%), including 36 fatalities (-34.5%), 231 robberies ( -26.9%), 1198 robberies (-26.9%), 27 093 cases of fraud (-7.5%), 40 401 cases of theft (+ 4.6%), including 319 from apartments (-34, 5%), 488 – from cars (-27.3%).
In total, according to the prosecutor’s offices, 95,905 crimes were registered in Moscow in 2021 (1.1% less than last year). Of these, there were 398 violations of traffic rules and vehicle operation (Article 264 of the Criminal Code; -8.3% compared to last year), including 92 fatalities (-6.1%).
