<p>There is only one &#8220;real&#8221; version of the death of the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Yevgeny Zinichev, all the rest are &#8220;blasphemous fabrications&#8221;, said the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov.  His <a href="https://ria.ru/20210909/zinichev-1749324808.html?chat_room_id=1749324808" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">quotes</a> RIA Novosti. </p>
<p>“Everything is absolutely clear there.  All this was told yesterday, and there are no versions there.  There is one real version, everything else is just such blasphemous, untrue fabrications, ”he said. </p>
<p>Emergencies Minister Evgeny Zinichev died on Wednesday morning, September 8.  According to the official <a href="https://www.mchs.gov.ru/deyatelnost/press-centr/novosti/4556149" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">versions</a>, 55-year-old minister died &#8220;in the line of duty&#8221; trying to save film director Alexander Melnik.  This happened allegedly during the interdepartmental exercises of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Norilsk.  One of the first versions of what happened <a href="https://t.me/margaritasimonyan/9188" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">described</a> in Telegram, RT editor-in-chief Margarita Simonyan: Zinichev jumped into the water after Melnik who fell from a cliff to save him and crashed on a stone. </p>
<p><a href="https://www.kommersant.ru/doc/4977304?from=main_5#id2107629" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Kommersant</a> and <a href="https://t.me/rbc_news/34873" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">RBK</a> citing sources, they said that the minister and the director died not during the exercises to protect the Arctic zone, but at the Kitabo-Oron waterfall in the Putorana reserve, where they arrived by helicopter.  it <a href="https://m.readovka.news/news/79824" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">confirmed</a> and the interlocutor Readovka.  According to the newspaper, the trip to the waterfall was a tourist trip.  The miller tried to save the minister who had fallen on a stone, and not vice versa.  Zinichev slipped, going to the edge of the waterfall, where there was ice. </p>
<p>Thursday 9 September Vladimir Putin <a href="http://kremlin.ru/events/president/news/66638" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">appropriated</a> Evgeny Zinichev was awarded the title of Hero of Russia posthumously.  The president <a href="http://kremlin.ru/events/president/news/66631" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">named</a> the death of Zinichev &#8220;an unfeasible personal loss.&#8221;  From 2006 to 2015, Zinichev worked in the personal protection of the president.  Since 2016, he was the deputy director of the FSB, and two years later he headed the Ministry of Emergency Situations.  Farewell to Zinichev will take place on September 10 in Moscow, the minister will be buried on the same day in St. Petersburg. </p>
