The Prosecutor General’s Office of Germany is investigating a hacker attack before the elections, in which Russia is suspected. About it informs Spiegel.

According to the newspaper, Prosecutor General Peter Frank “is investigating a large-scale Russian cyberattack campaign before the elections to the Bundestag.”

According to the FRG authorities, at the time of the organization of the attack on the Bundestag, Badin was an employee of the Russian military intelligence and participated in the attack as a member of the hacker group APT28.
