In Poltava, the court chose a preventive measure for 19-year-old Taisiya Petrova, who fired a crossbow at her former teachers. She was arrested for 60 days without bail. About it informs TSN.
“I had no intention of causing them any bodily harm. I agree that it was rather a goal to intimidate and show that enough is enough. Violence only breeds violence. I had no intentions of murder, ”the student explained in court.
Two days ago, the girl attacked the teachers of the school where she studied in elementary grades with a crossbow. One hit in the back, and the other an arrow pierced the palm. The injuries were not life threatening, the teachers were helped and allowed to go home. They feel fine.
The girl claims that, being in the 11th school, she was constantly faced with bullying: moral – from teachers and physical – from students, informs “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in Ukraine.
Petrova’s defense said that she would appeal the measure of restraint.
“If I could go back in time, I would never have done this and would have decided to just come to those women whom I had harmed, and constructively arranged a dialogue, talked,” Petrova emphasized.
The girl is suspected of a double attempted murder.
Little is known about the attacker herself. At this school, she studied until the fifth grade, and then moved to another educational institution. Recently she studied to be a psychologist at one of the local universities.
