The leadership of the Palace of Children’s Creativity (DDT) in Penza refused to accept the repairs made by the local charitable foundation “Civil Union” writes edition “7×7”. In 2019, the Ministry of Justice introduced organization in the register of non-profit organizations – “foreign agents”, considering that the fund is allegedly engaged in political activities.
Late last year “Civil Union” raised 1 million rubles for the renovation of the winter garden, a creative workshop and a zoological corner in the palace. The premises were commissioned in early February, but the administration did not put them on the balance sheet, said the executive director of the fund, Oleg Sharipkov. Foundation lawyer Anna Wagner, who, among 13 other volunteers, raised money for repairs, statedthat they chose DDT after talking with the director.
After the renovation was completed, the director of the palace, Larisa Presnyakova, refused the gift because she “does not want to have problems” due to alleged connections with the “foreign agent”. The information was also confirmed by Sharipkov. According to him, the head of DDT expressed dissatisfaction with the status of the charitable foundation.
Presnyakova herself in a conversation with reporters referred for shortcomings in the act of transfer-donation. According to her, it was initially planned that the volunteers would make repairs in the palace as an individual, but then they decided to act through the “Civil Union”, and it is supposedly easier for her to accept a gift from an individual.
“We do not refuse this gift. But we need correctly completed documents so that there will be no complaints from the inspection structures later, ”explained the director of the palace. The Penza Department of Education said that the renovated premises will be accepted on the balance sheet after receiving the estimate of the work performed from the fund.
On Monday, September 6, the head of the “Civil Union” Oleg Sharipkov told on Facebook that after the news appeared in the media, Presnyakova burst into the office of the foundation and demanded that the employees give her an estimate of the repair. The director of the children’s palace told the girls several times that they “need to think” before publishing information in the media, because “someone might have connections.”
“We sent her these estimates in different forms four times from April to September. But apparently she doesn’t like receiving them by e-mail and had to come in person. In a good way, the director should bring us a signed contract and estimates “, – stated Sharipkov to journalists.
