But the terrorists’ car was filled with explosives; by explosion perished 10 civilians, including 6 children, who happened to be nearby. Apparently, this is the only time that the actions of the American army led to the death of children. But there is every reason to believe that this attack prevented a second major terrorist attack at the airport.
