The security forces kept the detained Crimean Tatar politician Nariman Dzhelyal, who is suspected of complicity in sabotage (part 5 of article 33 of the Criminal Code, part 1 of article 281 of the Criminal Code) in a basement in handcuffs and with a bag on his head. About this edition “Grati” told lawyer Jelala Emine Avamileva.

“He looked physically and mentally exhausted. Tough measures of psychological influence were applied to him. All this time he was in handcuffs and with a bag on his head. No food or water. He did not know where he was, but he understood that he was somewhere in the basement, ”said the lawyer. She added that her client does not admit guilt and is ready to testify.

On the morning of June 4, the house of Nariman Dzhelyal in the village of Pervomayskoye, Simferopol region of Crimea, was searched. Then the security forces detained him and took him away in an unknown direction. In addition, businessman Eldar Odamanov, brothers Aziz and Asan Akhtemov and Shevket Useinov were detained. The men were detained as part of an investigation into possible damage to the gas pipeline near Perevalny.

According to investigator Vitaly Vlasov, all the detainees are under the control of the FSB in Crimea, but Grati emphasizes that there is still no information about Useinov’s whereabouts.
