The director and two coordinators of the festival in memory of Dovlatov were detained in St. Petersburg

Director of the festival in memory of Sergei Dovlatov “Day D” Anastasia Printseva and two coordinators of the event were detained in St. Petersburg. About it reported organizers.

An informed source told Interfax that the detention was connected with accusations of organizing a mass stay and movement of citizens in public places, which entailed a violation of public order.

Earlier on Saturday, a video of the detention of Prinseva in the park on Zagorodny Prospekt appeared on social networks. From 17:00 there announced the reading of Dovlatov’s works, the opening of a temporary monument to Glasha Dovlatov’s beloved fox terrier, as well as a parade of fox terriers.

D Day is an annual festival in memory of Dovlatov, which has been held since 2016. In 2021, the event is dedicated to the 80th birthday of the writer.
