In the Orenburg region, a court sentenced the rector of the Asekeevsky district parishes to 13 years in prison for sexual crimes against three children. About it informs regional administration of the UK.
The defendant was also found guilty of involving a minor in the systematic use of alcohol (part 1 of article 151 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
According to the investigation, the crimes were committed between January 2019 and February 2020.
The name of the defendant was not disclosed, but, according to “Interfax”, this is Hieromonk Clement (Korablev). He was detained in May 2020. Boys are reported to have suffered from his actions.
