All teachers in St. Petersburg will receive a one-time payment by the beginning of the school year in the amount of 10 thousand rubles, reported press service of the city administration.
The money will be transferred within the next three weeks; more than 120 thousand people will receive it by the end of September. We are talking about secondary school teachers, teachers of additional education, school psychologists and kindergarten teachers. Another 5 thousand rubles will be paid to class teachers by the end of the year.
Formerly the Governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov announced payments to long-livers of the city. Petersburgers who celebrated their 90th anniversary this year will receive 15 thousand rubles, the 95th anniversary – 20 thousand rubles, the 100th anniversary – 25 thousand rubles. Payments will be made for anniversaries. According to Beglov, the oldest residents of the northern capital are 107 years old today.
August 22 Vladimir Putin at a meeting with candidates for deputies from the “United Russia” announced payments to some citizens. The president instructed pensioners, including those who work, to pay 10 thousand rubles each, and servicemen – an average of 15 thousand rubles. “I would ask United Russia to respond when it forms a faction in the Duma,” he said. A week later, the head of state signed relevant decrees. Later, Putin proposed expanding payments in the amount of 15 thousand rubles for all security officials, as well as cadets of military schools.
Following Putin’s instructions, payments were separately announced in several more Russian regions. So, in the Tver region, a regional payment of 10 thousand rubles will receive teachers of schools, colleges and kindergartens. In the Ivanovo region, the same amount will be charged to teachers, educators and social workers, nannies will be paid 7 thousand rubles each.
State Duma elections are scheduled for the fall. Simultaneously with them, direct elections should be held for the heads of nine regions (deputies will elect them in three more subjects) and deputies of 39 regional parliaments. Due to the pandemic, voting this year will be three days – from 17 to 19 September. By data VTsIOM, the electoral rating of United Russia in the country is 27.3% – this is one of the lowest values since 2006. By data FOM, 30% of Russians are ready to vote for the party in power.
