The Moscow police opened a criminal case after the mass brawl of migrants on Baumanskaya street in the center of Moscow, transfers TASS.
The case was opened under the article on hooliganism committed by a group of persons (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code). It provides for up to seven years in prison.
The fight took place on Baumanskaya Street on the evening of 27 August. According to its results detained 49 people. On 15 of them, they drew up protocols on petty hooliganism (part 1 of article 20.1 of the Administrative Code), with the rest they had a conversation.
In the UK statedthat the conflict was initiated by at least ten immigrants from Central Asia. Among the detainees were citizens of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Head of the Investigative Committee (IC) Alexander Bastrykin personally demanded check the incident.
The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, earlier said that about 200 migrants from the CIS countries were deported from Moscow for violating law and order, another 17.5 thousand were banned from entering Russia.
