The Russian beach soccer team reached the World Cup final for the first time since 2013, beating the Swiss national team in the semifinals. About it informs Sports.ru.

In the final, the Russian team will face the Japanese national team, which beat the Senegal team with a score of 5: 2.
Previously, the Russian national team reached the final of the Beach Soccer World Cup twice – in 2011 and 2013. The Russians won both matches.
The World Beach Soccer Championship is held in Moscow from 19 to 29 August. Tournament matches are held at the Luzhniki stadium.
