Employees of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the abduction of a person (clauses “a”, “c”, “h”, part 2 of article 126 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) against the senior inspector of the traffic police, informs site of the management of the RF IC for the Krasnodar Territory.
According to preliminary data, in March a policeman asked a 20-year-old local to help him buy a car and gave him money that he borrowed from a friend. The young man could not fulfill his promise on time, then the inspector and the one who gave him the money began to threaten the young man. In July, they demanded to return the money with interest – a total of 5 million rubles.
According to the investigation, on the night of August 26, the policeman and two of his accomplices lured the debtor out of the house, took him to a garage on Angarskaya Street, handcuffed him in the basement and beat him, demanding to return the money given to him.
The victim was rescued by other police officers who accidentally discovered him while tracking drug dealers in a garage cooperative. In the garage, the security forces found a prisoner and three alleged abductors, who were taken to the police station. They turned out to be inspector Koshechkin, as well as his accomplices Maxim Samokhin and Sergei Semyannikov, writes Hot Mash.
Semyannikov, according to the newspaper, was a drug dealer, so the police tapped his phone. During one of the conversations of the suspect, the police heard screams in his receiver. After that, they carried out the operation in the garage cooperative.
In the Ministry of Internal Affairs notedthat from the garage they seized “120 tablets, presumably containing a narcotic substance, objects structurally similar to firearms, 12 cartridges, an electric shock gun and 2 baseball bats.”
