The Election Commission of the Pskov Region excluded Lev Shlosberg from the regional list of candidates from Yabloko in the upcoming elections to the Pskov Regional Assembly of Deputies. About it informs “Interfax” with reference to the press service of the election commission. 9 members of the regional election committee voted for, two more spoke against.
Earlier on August 26, the CEC already excluded Shlosberg from the elections to the State Duma in the Khovrinsky single-mandate constituency №207. Schlosberg, according to him opinion, allegedly was associated with the structures of Alexei Navalny, recognized on June 9 by the Moscow City Court as extremist organizations.
Schlossberg, speaking with Insider, noted that the “anti-legal judicial attack” on him is related to the security forces who control such “fake” political parties as the Greens. Panayev ran specifically to get him removed from the elections, said a Yabloko representative.
Law on the prohibition of being elected as involved in extremist activities, signed Putin on June 4, also did not allow him to be removed from the elections, Schlosberg recalled. According to the politician, the decision of the Moscow City Court on his “involvement in the activities of an extremist organization” is illegal. At the time of his registration in the elections, the decision to ban the FBK had not yet entered into force. On Monday, August 30, Schlosberg intends to file a cassation appeal with the Supreme Court.
