Islamic State claims responsibility for bombings in Kabul

The Islamic State terrorist group claimed responsibility for a series of bombings in the Afghan capital, informs Sky News citing a statement from a banned organization.

The terrorist attacks at the Kabul airport were staged by a suicide bomber, ISIS confirmed.

On August 26, in Kabul, explosions occurred near the airport, where the evacuation of local residents is taking place. A few hours earlier, the authorities of the United States, Great Britain, Germany and other countries warned of a possible terrorist attack. As a result of terrorist attacks perished 60 people, including 12 US military. More than 140 people were injured.
