The CEC expelled the leader of the Pskov Yabloko and the current deputy of the Pskov regional assembly Lev Shlosberg from the list of the Yabloko party in the elections to the State Duma for supporting Navalny. About it informs “Sever.Realii” referring to Schlossberg himself.

It is noteworthy that the head of the CEC Ella Pamfilova said at the meeting that Schlosberg is an opponent of “Smart Vote” and an opponent of Alexei Navalny, and the politician has nothing to do with the activities of the extremist organization. However, the head of the CEC voted to remove Schlosberg from the party list.

Lev Schlosberg said that he did not agree with the CEC decision, considered it illegal and would appeal.

“The Yabloko party declares with full responsibility: there are no legal and legal grounds for excluding Lev Shlosberg from the party’s election federal list, even within the framework of the absurd and repressive legislation of which he is accused of violating. All accusations against him are untrue and deliberately inspired “, – it says in Yabloko’s statement.

On August 3, 2021, the Election Commission of the Pskov Region refused to register for the elections to the regional assembly, the head of the regional branch of the Yabloko party, Lev Shlosberg, due to “involvement in the activities of a public association carrying out extremist activities,” which meant the Anti-Corruption Foundation of Alexei Navalny. Later it was restored to them. The election commission then explained that the policy was restored, since at the time of registration the decision to ban and liquidate the FBK had not come into legal force.
