Russian authorities agree to evacuate about a thousand people from Afghanistan

About 1,000 residents of Afghanistan received permits to enter Russia, reported RIA Novosti President of the Russian Center for Diasporas of Afghanistan Ghulam Mohammad Jalal.

According to him, the authorities are evacuating students, workers with work permits, as well as those who already have Russian citizenship or a residence permit (residence permit) in Russia from Kabul, captured by the Taliban.

All these people turned to the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan for help, Jalal specified. Export flights, he said, will begin in September. “They got approval, now they are on the line. At the first technical opportunity – when the airport will be opened [Кабула], they will fly to Russia, ”he said.
