In Kirov, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has sued local activists Vadim Ananyin and Mikhail Semenov 183 thousand rubles for their work at the January rally in support of Alexei Navalny. About it writes “7×7” with reference to Vadim Ananyin.

According to the publication, in June of this year, the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs demanded to collect 283.5 thousand rubles from Ananyin and Semyonov for the work of police officers on a day off at a rally in support of Navalny on January 23. It is clarified that the security forces demanded to reimburse 193.2 thousand rubles for the operation of official cars and another 90.3 thousand for the duty of employees.

Initially, in the lawsuit, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs asked to compensate for the work on the day off of police officers from the Nolinsky, Kirovo-Chepetsky and Slobodsky districts of the Kirov region, however, according to Vadim Ananyin, there were no rallies in these settlements. In connection with the arguments of the defense, the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs abandoned these requirements and reduced the amount of compensation to 183 thousand rubles.

According to “7×7”, the Pervomaisky District Court satisfied the police claim against the activists. So far, the decision has not come into legal force. In a conversation with 7×7, Vadim Ananyin stressed that he and Mikhail Semyonov intend to appeal the verdict.
