A MiG-29 burned down in the Astrakhan region. The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has lost the fourth plane in the last week and a half

Russian fighter MiG-29 burned down in the Astrakhan region. The aircraft was undergoing scheduled repair work in a military unit in the Narimanov region. Early in the morning, the MiG-29 flared up and completely burned out, no one was injured. About it informs Telegram channel of the Baza edition.

The Russian Defense Ministry has lost its fourth aircraft in the past week and a half.

On August 18, the same MiG-29 crashed in the same area. The plane crashed in a deserted place on the territory of the Ashuluk test site. The flight was carried out without ammunition. The pilot was killed. This was reported by the press service of the Southern Military District.

The day before, on August 17, the Il-112V military transport aircraft suffered crash during a training flight in the suburbs. There were three people on board, they died. A video of the plane crash appeared on the Internet, which shows how one of the engines lights up before the crash. The crashed plane was a prototype, the mass production of such machines is planned to begin in 2023.

August 14 in Turkey when extinguishing fires crashed Be-200 of the Ministry of Defense, leased to the authorities of the country. There were seven people on board, of which five were crew members from Russia. They all died.
