In Kherson, during the installation, a 70-meter flagpole, built specially for the Independence Day of Ukraine, collapsed, informs Internet portal “Favorite Kherson”. Information on your Facebook confirmed Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional State Administration (Regional State Administration) Eduard Naumenko.

According to him, the installation was carried out taking into account all building codes and technical requirements. The collapse was due to a broken line. At the same time, he noted that the sling was new, it was acquired specifically for the installation of the flagpole.

Local newspaper “Most” writesthat the flagpole fell and damaged an official standing next to Lexus, who is responsible for capital construction and state orders in the Regional State Administration. According to sources on the portal, the car belongs to Vitaly Karavaev. He managed to get out of the car “in a matter of seconds” before the flagpole fell.
